  48. Thanx for your comments, I'll elaborate. In trying to get kermit to talk
  49. over a LAN using ODi drivers I have been unsuccessful in getting it to
  50. work using a SMC nic. If an NE2000 nic is used then kermit functions
  51. correctly. The drivers used are as follows:

  54. smc8000
  55. odipkt 1
  56. ipxodi
  57. nextx
  58.  
  59. and kermit returns the following error message:
  60. resolving address of host host_name
  61. try name host_name
  62. unable to arp resolve host_ip_address
  63.
